“Run for the Angels 5K”

At 6:00 pm on Friday April 20^th at the Orlando Executive Airport, the first running of the “Run for the Angels 5K” will take place. All proceeds will benefit Angel Flight Southeast, which, for more than 25 years, has been providing free air transportation for children and adults with medical or compelling humanitarian needs.

You will run 3.1 miles down taxiways, a runway, through hangars with water stations, and around many types of airplanes and helicopters. This is your chance for an extremely unique experience to view Florida’s favorite airport up close and personal. The NBA All Star Game is being held in Orlando on Sunday evening, February 26, 2012.  The hours of operation after the NBA All Star Game will be extended past our usual closing time of 2300 Local (0400Z).

Please note, ORL(Orlando Executive Airport) ATCT will close at 0045 Local, the morning of Monday, February 27, 2012 (0545Z).
